I got an email from charlieoscardelta.com yesterday and I've been playing this sh*t nonstop. Dude this game is so much fun.

Dude it's like Socom first person.

 

You get experience points for killing people and with that you move up in rank and unlock new attachments and perks. Perks give you the edge in a specific area (more health, bullets do more damage, etc). The game's graphics look f*ckin awesome, no lag and most importantly, it's really really fun.

Sounds awesome...the trailers LOOK awesome. I wish I could get a beta key but I tried again and I can't even register to sign up.

wait so is the 360 version a private beta or an open beta? I've heard some have been already playing (like said topic poster) which leads me to believe they are part of the closed private beta, but IGN said something about it hitting open beta (i think thats what they meant) for america tomorrow 8/27. Is this true? No one seems to freaking know.

Summary

August 23, 2007 - Call of Duty 4 beta goes public on Monday, August 27. A few fortunate members of the press got a chance to enter the beta a little early. And yeah, even the IGN editors managed to somehow sneak in. We spent the better part of this week getting capped by Infinity Ward's best and brightest. It was a blast (thanks to the C4).

Seems like the privet beta for CoD 4 on 360 starts today. You'll have to register at charlieoscardelta.com for your chance to get in (its a first-come-first-serve basis). Seems the catch is you have to answer three trivia questions correctly. Anyways, good luck even being able to access the website, because all I'm getting are 'cannot connect to server' errors, probably because everyone and their mother is trying to get on the site.

Yeah i signed up yesterday morning and still haven't received my confirmation email and know i can't even access the site to do anything.

EDIT: SON OF A BITCH! I just hit 'ENTER NOW' on the beta page and I get 'TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE'. They've shut the damn site down. Ohhhh this makes me one f*cking sad panda.

Yeah, I have been following this game for a while. I was all ready to get in on the beta when their services went to sh*t. It was down from almost the night before and completely conked out come 12pm PST when the beta was actually supposed to open.

 

Now they are having this random drawing and I am sure I wont get it

Waited at the god damn release clicking and refreshing constant untill god damn 4am, and I had been doing it since 7:30 in the evening.

 

It says only US to sign up, even if they only choose US members they have my email now they might send me one on first wave of international. But I REFUSE to believe its going to be a month before we can play.

 

Seriously, already UK f*ckers on it, what difference does it make if we arent there, a few days or at most a week, to allow less lag, but I thought thats what the whole point was with the first wave.

 

If they dont let us have it for a month I am going on a stabbing spree, starting with the people who have it, on my buddy list then the rest of the world.
