I agree. VCPR is a very good station, although I think the dialogue is too short, and it can get a little too repetetive.

 

That's the good thing about WCTR; there are multiple segments and the dialogue is pretty long.

I liked a lot of songs from the Vice City Radio and "Pressing Issues" from VCPR.

+1 for Radio X from SA, it really got me into grunge. I started listening to bands like Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith No More and Soundgarden.

Very hard choice given the amount of stations and the fact that there are only a few I dislike in the various games but it still stands out now as one of the best made and not just because Lazlow is the host. The adverts, the callers, the entire scripting of the show is a work of art.

Flash FM from Vice City for me, every time i played Vice City and got into a car i would always flick through the radio stations until i found Flash, then i would start driving away.

There were so many great radio stations on all the GTA's. That's one reason why I'm glued to these games. The music is awesome. Anyway, more to the point, it was so hard to choose, because every game is in a different era and I love so many stations in different games. Had to be Radio Los Santos though because it fitted in with SA so perfectly. But then again I love Radio X, K-DST and Flash FM from Vice City. And who could forget Espantoso!

I absolutely loved Emotion 98.3, and it's probably the station I've listened to most of all the games.

 

Lithium FM, KREZ, Chatterbox and SFUR were pretty sweet too, though. And the GTA2 incarnation of Head FM with Johnny Ricaro and Fanny-Joe Styyyyyyles.

I liked the gta 3 Chatterbox especially the interview with Fernando, but I had to vote for flash FM it had the best songs on vice city

Even though the options are named wrong, I've voted for all GTA1 radio stations. There's a wide variety of styles but they all have a fresh beat and catchy lyrics. When you're playing GTA1, you just can't help singing along with them! And having so much music produced to a record-label quality in a video game was unique for its time (1997).

 

Radio stations became a hallmark of the GTA series because they did it so well right from the start, imho.

I said K-DST, but to be honest I could have easily picked Chatterbox, VCPR, V-Rock or all GTA3, or all GTA Vice city.

 

Question: Is there any way to getting the music from K-DST without having to buy the whole boxset? Did they ever do individual CD's like the V-Rock one (one of the best purchases I ever made by the way)?
