its enough 2K f*cked up the game by removing so much, now there are rumors of DLC not being delivered for PC? 2k sucks, wether those rumors care true or not.

I'm getting it anyways... finally DLC that has cutscenes and a real story like the real Mafia 2 game. Still it won't change the fact it's still a huge ripoff. But why is the game so f*cking great then .

Should you get what now, the full game? If you really can't wait and don't mind being ripped off then go ahead get the game now.

 

On the other hand; best thing to do is 'ignoring' this game for as long as possible untill there is a 'all in one' edition out. Or, whne the prices drop for both the game and it's DLC content.

 

Luckily this game will be a 'classic' (just like the original Mafia)... no need to rush on it. It doesn't have any multiplayer so it won't change a bit over the years.

oh sweet jesus, this looks great, so this is what mafia 2 should have looked like all along, but you're right, it doesn't change the fact that 2k have ripped us off big time, i'm buying it though, but only to experience the real mafia 2

I've kinda got the suspicion that they actually wanted Joe to be the main protagonist in the vanilla game; because look at the amount of stuff Joe's getting, so much stuff that should have been in the original game.

 

I also heared that the DLC will also bring 6-10 hours of content, I had a link to it; I'll edit this post if I find it. It was a translated site.

 

Edit: Oh and the DLC's releasing Nov. 23.

You know that the game was supposed to end in 1955 not 1951. So all the stuff Joe is getting was supposed to be for Vito when he gets out of prison.

This game would have been superior to GTA IV (forgive me for comparing) if it had free roam and some stuff polished. Why the f*ck did they not include it? Did they spend all the f*cking money optimizing it?

Most other sandbox games aka GTA clones have free roam, why not this one?

Because it was created as a story-based game, it was never supposed to have it, therefore it's not a GTA clone, they didn't plan to do free roam - simple.

Even Mafia 1 in 2001 had free ride (boring for somebody but had). This way Mafia 2 meant to be. Including Free Ride, Tutorial (if someone want ), Extreme Ride, Races, Full map (no limitations in exploring), turning on\off engine,manual ride, sit everywhere you want in car etc. that's why I love Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 is sooooo empty without this....

Correction: the original alpha-beta versions of Mafia 2 did have Freeride and Freeride Extreme. i think i saw it in multiple videos and screenshots of early main menu.
