Are you sure about that? I have read that game received 7/10 in PlayStation Official Magazine. This is bad, because I got myself a preorder.

The only thing I use for the demo is the Trainer that allows you to get all weapons instantly along with the 'frozen timer' (no time limit). Apart from that I'll just wait t'ill the final game is out. I don't want to ruin/spoil too much already.

True that. Once I switch to rain, I'm throwing this demo out. I've already got six or seven hours logged. In a demo.

my kaspersky blocked that program after adding it to acceptable list for norton rofl.

my avg blocked that program too.

anyway its a uploading site that i downloaded the tool from so its not trusted. best is to get a program from modding site that is very popular and have the ability for people to comment.

the last time i downloaded a program that some1 on a very popular forum posted that its a gta 4 trainer. when i downloaded it it crashed my entire system straight away. i had to get a new computer because of that son of a bitch.

I've seen some screens of PS3 version and they are definitely bad. It's the most inferior version. Xbox version is a little better but PC dominates them all. There is a version comparison video a couple of pages back. you can see for yourself.

I think you'll find he is complaining that the PS3 is getting extra content that xbox and PC aren't getting.

Erm well firstly I don't know why you are accusing fullmetal of being a PS3 fanboy, if you had checked his posting history you will see he prefers the PC. I suppose that makes me a PS3 fanboy too then since I agree with him.

 

I thought most people already knew that Sony have made a deal to get the first Jimmy DLC free and exclusive to the PS3. The only consolation (pun intended) xbox 360 and PC owners have is that it may be timed exclusivity (similar to the GTA 4 DLC situation). It is a sh*tty situation that PC gamers yet again have to put up with and it almost had me skipping Mafia 2 (if it hadn't been for the excellent Demo).

 

 

With over 25 different missions, The Betrayal of Jimmy promises a meaty additional gameplay experience, and a nice bonus for PlayStation 3 owners looking to pick up Mafia II later this month.

There is going to be a second DLC called Jimmy's Vendetta that will be available for all platforms :-

 

Xbox 360 and PC gamers won't be left out in the cold for DLC. A second add-on pack, titled Jimmy's Vendetta, will be available for all platforms shortly after the game's release. As with The Betrayal of Jimmy, the mercenary hit man will again be the center of attention, as he works the cleaner angle across Empire Bay. Pricing information and dates for the second add-on pack are still to come.

So everyone will get to play as Jimmy at some point, but the first DLC featuring Jimmy is PS3 exclusive. I don't agree with it and I think it is sick that they would do this with a PC franchise. But at the end of the day it isn't really 2K Czech's fault, I imagine they want everyone to play all the content. This is down to their publisher 2K being arseholes.

yeah we get it Street Mix you don't like steam, unfortunately you are in a minority and most PC gamers are quite happy with steam. If this wasn't a steam game it would be a GFWL title and I would sure as hell prefer steamworks than that god forsaken Microsoft service.

 

Now you obviously don't like steam just like I don't like GFWL so do the sensible thing and vote with your wallet then just like I have been doing with GFWL titles.

I was merely stating the OBVIOUS fact and/or making an observation. It's a fact, if you deny such a thing you're nothing but a fool.

 

Graphically the PC version will be superior, which is also a fact. And apart from these things your 'best' experience will be on what platform you prefer.

 

Curious what else you can do in the full game. Also hope there is more depth to the 'robbing' aspect. But I kind of doubt it. The game is primarily 'linear story driven' (as GTAIV was actually: sidemissions and smaller activities are as good as non existant).

I'm sure hackers will make a no steam version of the game so you can pick up their executable if you have a broken offline mode on Steam. But don't pirate the entire game.

what are you on? Steam is a digital videogame STORE. you buy games and they stay in your account forever. thats what i love about steam. no CD keys (unless its a retail steam game) no losing your discs... just log in and play.

 

and unless its an online only game like DOD:S you CAN play in offline mode. if you couldnt, i dont think there would have been a point to make offline mode.
