Mafia II looks very promising, but these early screenshots of the city look alot like Mafia's old preview screenshots.

Mafia 1 was defenetly the game that realy cought the atmosphere of a real 30s city. I have no doubt that Mafia 2 will be even better

Man, this game looks great! I just saw the trailer. The graphics are awesome. I really need to get a PS3. I already have 2 games on my wishlist: GTA IV and Mafia II. I haven't played Mafia I, but I can tell that this game is going to be great fun! I love the Mafia theme.

Wow, just heard about this game, and i love Mafia based games!!!

 

I'm currently playing the godfather, have finished it, and i love it, my fabourite game right now, love the style, the shooting system, the time era, and just the mafia!

 

I remember playing Mafia when i was little because my friend reccommended it to me, i played it, got up to the part where you have to think about joining the mafia, and completely lost interest. I hope Mafia 2 will be better than the godfather, if it is, this will be friggin great.

 

Just a question, i'm getting a 360 for Christmas, so when will this game be release on that console?

Mafia 1 was great, before GTA SA came out it was the best game ever made(PC version).

Cant wait for part 2! One thing i hope is that the verhicles are not as slow as in part 1, the only downside from the game.

Not all the cars were slow, although that's to be expected - cars were slow'ish back then.

 

I remember the Crazy Horse car, though. That thing was awesome. I used to drive around in that thing and popping wheelies all the time.

GTA was better then Mafia 1 and will be better (probably) then Mafia II, unless they put in a lot of work.

 

But, come on? This is like the 50s, battle GTA IV with all this cool stuff in 2007 with old ass plain stuff in the 50s.

 

I'll still buy the game, though.

I will buy ANY GTA-Styled game that is good enough and long enough to play on.

Exactly. The decadent post-depression/pre-war 30s atmosphere was a large part of the reason why the first game was so good.

I know about these games, pretty much like GTA, but set all the way back in the 20s/30s/40s I think. And it is based on like real life, unlike GTA. In GTA, you can drive during redlights, but on Mafia you can't. And it is very unfair, but that's the real way in real life anyways, so I don't mind it.

Hardly any information has been released, let alone the system requirements. That will probably happen near the game's release, which is still a while yet.

yeah mafia 2 is going to be released around 2009 and you could always use a trainer for no cops in mafia 1

I cannot wait more II. I remember when I got the 1st one I was a f*cking addict. One of the best storylines in the history of gaming. Paulie was awesome and it had one of the saddest endings ever
