Also, the dynamite came from Wilson's place, when he took some stuff before he left. I personally thought the tank thing would be cool. If you really think it ruined the story, I will change it. By the way, VCHolmes, in your sum up, the Lombardi Mafia Family is not included as an organization. And about the mint heist, I have an idea. Niko could enter the Mint as a visitor. Fitch would find a way to hide a gun on Niko, so Niko could hold hostages in the money printing room. He is screaming about Boris Dvorski returning. Then, Niko has all the money shipped through a truck and on a motorboat, driven by Roman. Niko then is confronted by the Mint Police and runs to the top, where the Lombardis are in the chopper. That little rant was about people in general, who contradict eachother's posts. Frankly, I thought the tank chase and added action was awesome! It just didn't fit with what I had wrote before. No worries though. Let's all just try to fix this this in the future, and the story's already continued on so it would mess it up to change it anyways. I won't add anyone who isn't serious about writing, or who doesn't plan on writing in the story at all. I wouldn't mind adding another name to the list at this point, as long as you were caught up with the story. (Check Phil's recap.) And if you already have any writing on the forums, post it. If not, feel free to write a little paragraph or something to show us your style of writing. EDIT: Speaking of the list, I've updated it by deleting the members who signed up but weren't writing, including espedito. (Sorry.) Indeed, so for that reason (and because I think I have fallen back to far in the story and I don’t have the time to stay caught up with this) I would like to request that my name be taken off the list. The first one and this one has a lot of people how are constantly changing the plot and making things repetitive. If you make another one of these I think you should make it so people have to give a sample of writing before they can sign up for it. This could help increase the quality of work being contributed to a new finish the story. But I’m not really sure if you should. If there are enough people interested in a FTS III, then we will wait until this one finishes, or dies out. FTS 2 went a bit of track I suppose, we just need to collaborate a bit more strongly to put it back on track. Can I take part in FTS III? I think it will get a bit repetitive and boring if we start over. Couldn't we just try to put this thing back on track? If we are to start over with FTS, we need to chart out a sound plan before writing. So... what's happening? Should I continue? Even I wanted to ask the same thing. I'm confused. He has only been posting in the GTA IV forum, and I don't remember him here for about four days, yet he has been online. However, if we make a new thread, the rules will be: *Use proper English. And punctuation. (I made an error in sentence. Fix it, to show you know how to use punctuation for beginers, at least). Capitalization and Spelling will also be required. *This story will be written in PAST TENSE. *We will make a story map FIRST. Ideas? I think one of the main problems in both stories was that people wrote what they wanted to write, and lost sight of the fact that this is GTA, a world where the protagonist builds way up gradually rather than owning the city all at once. To put it simply, we all rushed into the story in II. In III, let's all try to stick with the main GTA structure which has been used in all of the series' games. Meaning that: Niko arrives in Liberty City as a poor-ass imigrant, with no money and no place to stay. Niko stays with Roman for the first few weeks, who introduces him to the first set of characters Niko must do missions for. Niko's first few missions will be more of an introduction to the city rather than story. (Don't give him a gun for the first mission and write that he must go shoot up some place.) Also, we need to keep in mind that Rockstar is going for realism. No tanks or Niko vs army shootouts unless they fit correctly with the story. I never knew that it ever existed before I was warned. I am not an idiot, I don't go around breaking rules on purpose. All I knew then was some 2004 members b*tching about the 2007 ones. Lets forget about it, the pit has been removed. Okay people, interest seems to be waning. Why is it? Is it because this is the 3rd time we are starting afresh?
