Vercetti21 Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) So seeing as how my "Finish the Story" thread has gone to complete sh*t, a few of us on the forums who actually enjoyed having the thread around decided to try again. However, this one is going to be different. You can't just come in and just start writing like before, because too many people (with no writing skills, I might add) abused the plot, twisted the story around way too much and killed off major characters. So this next thread is going to be for serious writers only. If you suck at writing and you know it, please, for the sake of the story, don't sign up and stick to this thread. I am not making this thread to be mean, but I thought this would be the best way for the GTA community to enjoy this story, rather than everyone taking part in it. This is a fun project and I think that the final product will turn out good. So if you are a writer, I encourage you to join! It will be interesting to see the many variations of writing styles. Keep in mind that this thread will only be open for a few days before we start the story. My only request is that you do not sign up if you haven't been here for at least 2 weeks. This will prevent noobs from signing up just to take part in the story. So if you're in, say so and I will add your name to the list. I will update the list as people sign up. I joined Feb 28, 2006. Niko grabs the Desert Eagle and runs up the closest fire escape. As the cops close in Niko breaks the window on the second floor and is greeted an old african american woman. She gasps as he rips through her apartment and flies to the hallway and up the steps. Niko can hear the sirens outside as he steps out on the roof. Suddenly, he hears a choppper roaring in the distance. He cant clearly see what it says but its definatly not LCPD . . . Is it possible to Password to REply to a thread option? Then a PM could be sent to those able to write it and the others will be able to read but not reply? Not sure if this is pluasible or possible. And I don't mean like MINOR misspellings, but like "and nico went to park car and sayd i get you mciey" even though McReary was killed off. That would get REALLY annoying. And it would be stupid. Sorry, I edit my posts alot. Here's the deal with that. I'm going to suggest people use proper grammer, spelling, capitalization, etc. as a guidline rather than a rule. I personally prefer it because it makes everything easier to read but as long as posts are legible it won't neccesarily be required. And @blackjack2, I haven't seen you post before. Obviously I can't just let everyone who wants to join. Show me some of your posts (prefered in the original story thread) and I'll see what I can do. And @Mokiesmoky, that's a good idea.
