lalalaclaire
I can't find the MP3 file that I'm supposed to insert my MP3 music files into. I've looked everywhere and I've checked just about every thread that mentions the subject, but to no avail. Can someone give me thorough directions to install my mp3's into the MP3 file, please? I'm a Vista user. Thanks.

stef_92
Create folder "mp3" in your GTA3 directory. After that enter in the new folder and create a .txt file with name MP3Report.txt and write in it: MP3 Report File "." - not an MP3 or supported MP3 type ".." - not an MP3 or supported MP3 type TOTAL SUPPORTED MP3s:
radioman
First off, you don't need to create an MP3 folder, as it automatically appears when you install the game. It is in your install directory, by default it is on your "C" drive unless you installed it to another drive. Go to "My Documents" and click "search" at top of screen, the in top search box, enter "rockstar games", skip second box, and in third box, select the drive you installed the game to and click perform search. In a few seconds you see all the rockstar games you have installed, in my case it says " GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas.". click the game you want, and look for folder called "MP3", then add shortcuts to your music in here(note: GTA 3 and Vice City will only support mp3 and .wav files and will not work with "protected" media(downloads)). after you add the songs you want, close folder and start game, go to the options in game and choose "audio", then stroll through all the radiostations until you see the mp3 station(in gta 3 it's after chatterbox fm, and vice city it's after wave 103). then go in game and enjoy. Hope this helps. btw, the one for San Andreas is called "user tracks" and is located in your my documents/gta san andreas user files folder (the same folder saves are in).
