Dolven Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 I think the vehicle you are trying to describe is the dodo, you can’t fly it in vice city but if you use the hunter to shoot it down you get a 3 star wanted level. I may be wrong on this one, but I believe I saw once where someone had modded the skimmer and added wheels. Don't remember where I saw that (may have been in a TC). Sorry I don't have more info. H13N.H3N Posted November 6, 2007 Share Posted November 6, 2007 A'ight all you homies, first, there's no Skimmer with wells, the name is "Dodo", the model of Dodo in Vice City is a simple "skeleton" just surface, not even with collision file, it's like the Police Maverick that hunts you when you get up to 3 stars, (in fact this chopper has a collision file, but still a skeleton, you can't enter of find it, neither wth a car spawner) the game has a model of that chopper to ride, it name is Police Maverick but actually it's just a Maverick skinned with plice decals, but not the one that chase you. Second and going more deeply, all the vehicles have "dummies" that has special functions, ones tells the game what are doors, lights, Ped seats and of course, where are the wheels, if a model like any car you see have wheels it's because it have 4 dummies that make the function of pivot (the virtual suspencion) for the wheel, the Skimmer doesn't have this dummies... so even if you want to assing it a set of wheels it's impossible that they fit on it, i don't know what kind of model or dummies PS2 handle, but certainly in PC it's imposible to convert a Skimmer into a Dodo, f course are MODS and things, but as a modder, i can tell u for sure that the Skimmer with wheels is a big lie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
