About a mod

I'm new at the forums and at GTA SA and i was wondering is there some way that i could keep my skyline mod (replaces elegy) and get the tuneable BMW M3 (replaces elegy also)??

if you change the elegy's to another car's name (example: stallion) bmw will change to stallion

You need to make sure that if the custom model is made to replace a two door SA car, then you must make sure that if you rename it to replace another vehicle that it is also a two door.

 

Also make sure that it replaces a similar sized vehicle, otherwise the collison file will either be too big or too small for the vehicle. If that happens you may find yourself hitting objects before it actually hits the vehcile mesh or the mesh going into an object before detecting the collision.

You can't replace BMW for another car becouse elegy has i think 4 or 5 files.(elegy.txd, elegy.dff, elegy1.txd elegy2.txd and i think elegy3.txd)

So it's up to you which car you want to replace. I choose BMW

Maybe BMW will work if you replace it for onother car but it will have just one skin.

If the BMW is tunable choose an other car wich has same carmods.
