Mr Vecetti Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Personally, I think this is a good thing but un-realistic, when I make Toni run with an SMG then switch to shotgun he still runs pretty fast, the same with a chainsaw. I didn’t say it or any other GTA's were realistic or unrealistic when it came to weapons appearing suddenly when selected in your inventory. Baramos Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 (edited) The Minigun was based off of a huge gun called a Vulcan. It was miniaturized into a smaller gun but it still worked the same way, had the same design, the gatling gun type design. So whereas the minigun, while usually mounted on something like a helicopter, could be carried (though in reality it only happens in movies like Predator and of course games like GTA), the Vulcan cannon was mounted on something like a flying fortress or an apache helicopter and that was it folks. Anyway, it is more realistic in a way that he can run with some of the guns because you can run in real life with a shotgun or assault rifle, albeit they should've made it a slower run and the ability to run with an RPG or a Minigun equipped was ridiculous. But it did make the game a lot easier, I just bought a lot of M4 ammo and cruised through the missions, whereas in other games you had to go with something lighter and less damaging if you wanted mobility.
