Modding question,

I have GTA SA version 2 for PC, i have tried to mod grims weapon pack III on it many times until i found out you cant mod on version 2, but i was able to mod CJ's face a bit, so that means i can do a mod on there, but only that one, or else the loading screen after you choose what game (new game or load game) freezes at about half way into it, so here are my questions.

 

1. Is it true that i can mod SA v.2 a bit but not with most mods?

 

2. where can i buy v.1 it seems extinct to me.

 

3. is the loading screen stopping at about half-point normal and i should wait a bit for it to load like its loading the mod up or should i just forget it?

Use a downgrader. Search Google for one. It'll solve most, if not all, of your problems in one hit.

Rockstar brought out V2 of SA to stop the .img being modded due to the fiasco with the hotcoffee mod etc.

 

As said above You can make V2 of the game moddable by looking for a downgrader patch on google.
