GTA Phreak
Advice (produces the best videos): Put "Frame-Limiter" ON (display options advanced) Set FRAPS to record at matching 25 fps. Set FRAPS to display fps (to check that the game maintains ~ 25fps). If you still can't get 25 fps while recording, you can try the following: Restart your computer (occasionally works wonders). Make sure all other programs running in the background is shut down. If you're on a permanent internet connection, - shut it down. Defragment your harddisk. Reduce FRAPS recording size to 1/2. (if your disk is slow, - this should improve things considerably) And/or reduce resolution the game is running at (if your videocard is slow this should improve things considerably) Reduce game draw distance and/or gfx detail.
