Ring_of_Fire Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) You just have to keep on pressing the TAB key repeatedly since conflicts are arising between phone calls and the stats box (although they both operate at the same time). Perhaps you could go into Controller Setup, and click on "Restore Defaults" to refresh the keys for the 'Action' buttton. I was happily replaying the game when the stat box appeared when game loaded. I cant turn it off and as soon as i get on a bike or in a car I start shooting. All you have to do is to reload your save file (preferably San Andreas itself). Remember it's normal for the stats box to appear - it disappears after a while on it's own. I was happily replaying F1-Replay? Playing SA all over again? The stats box disappears on it's own. Perhaps you are most likely pressing the 'Action' key and not knowing (check to make sure only the keyboard/mouse are plugged in and no additional gamepads). Go and edit the controller settings for the SA 'Action' button and make sure it is assigned to only 1 key like [TAB] and nothin' else. It's very easy to press on the look behind [Q] key while driving, and then accidentally on the [TAB]. Beginning to think the problem is with the keyboard or software and not the game. Well uninstall those stupid keyboard/mouse softwares then, and use the Windows-provided ones. Logitech do all this crap to your gaming experience if you don't know how to properly edit the control panel that came with it. * If still no luck which shouldnt't be the case, install Patch v1.01 if you don't have v2.0.
