GTA SA to IV

I told you we we're already working on this for Sanandreas . Please stick with gta III like you original we're it was my idea for SA. so we can have our different mods...

Just because you two are doing the same thing, doesn't mean he stole the idea from you. Have you seen how many mods there are that put VC in SA?

 

@Topic Starter: If you don't have permission from the authors of the mods, it's considered ripping.

Hate to say it, but porting models and textures from one game to another, epecially with the same engine, is not so much an idea as it is tinkering. It's not like youre the first person to say "Hey, why play this game on a sh*t device when I can use a rather new engine to render it?"

 

Whatever the case, its not a novel idea. No sense in trying to claim rights or originality over it.

I'll admit that modders are usually something necessary for a mod to be made. I wonder, what is it that you are adding to the mod short of your creativity in ideas?

Looking back at what you have said and bitched about, I thought I would make a list of what you have actually done. This is what I came up with:

 

1)Nothing

 

For a second there, I thought this post wasn't going anywhere. But now I realize it will fit right in with the others. You need to start things before you will get any help.

 

edit - You may want to clean up your attitude a bit too. I've seen quite a few mention their disregard for you and, I'll tell ya, that will hurt you much more than you think.

Right' O Vicecitystories hasnt made a topic yet, but we are working on a GTA:IV map, yes.

 

It will only be a small map at start (a couple of blocks) but its a start

Look, dude, making a mod isn't easy. It's not a walk in the park. You should see the ammount of time that has to be put into a map mod. I seriously don't hope you thought this was going to be like, "lolz im gonna make gta4 in a day".

 

If you can't handle the mod, then just scrap it. You won't be the first. No shame in admitting you can't do something. Hell, I can't even model a house.
