TheDude5000 Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I have it, it's ok. I was looking forward to this game since early 2005 before all these fanboys jumped on the bandwagon. And reading previews on it then, I must say I was dissapointed with the final product because it failed to innovate in the open world genre. So i just borrowed it to my cousin for a while. I will have to get it off him and start playing it again. It's an alright game really but no way near GTA quailty. Crackdown is fun, not in the begining because all of your skills suck but once you get them up it's pretty fun. I like Saints Row too, my favorite 360 game till GTA 4. For right now it is a great game, as the graphics are INCREDIBLE in comparison to the closest GTA, San Andreas. Once IV comes along however, Saints Row will surely be collecting dust. xygtaxy Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Saints row ownz, They made the controls similiar to the sony gta's and not the crappy way like Xbox San Andreas. The graphics are damn good. The music so ghetto I drove down the street in a fun way. I liked getting high, drunk, and dressing exactally and lookin exactally the way you want to. It truly is a good game, and it's definitely the best GTA copycat out there. The graphics are great, and if you just stop to look around, it sounds like a real city. My only complaints are with the storyline, dialogue, and radio. The storyline is pretty dry, the dialogue is kinda cheesy, and the radio commercials were just un-funny along with the talk-radio station, which just fails in comparison to GTA III's Chatterbox, GTA: VC's VCPR and K-Chat, and GTA: SA's WCTR (Lazlow is a genius). However, I did find some of the music to be quite enjoyable. They've got music genres ranging from Alternative Rock, Metal, Reggae and Hip-Hop, to Classical and Easy Listening.
