Saget
What's the exact error? Does it says on which file it was? I got a blue screen this weekend, and it said there was an error with nv4_disp, probably some video card problem. At that time I was afk, I left Firefox open and went talk to my dad. When I came back, there was the screen. But that was no big deal for me, I just had to reboot, use safe mode for a few hours, go to bed and the next day the computer was back to normal. |DeviantArt|Flickr|YouTube|#amf|
K^2
Try updating your drivers. Mostly graphics and audio related. Blue screen is a sign of a 16bit error. That means a problem in the old portion of a kernel (Windows ME or before) or an old driver. You can't really fix the kernel problem without installing something like XP, but if it is a driver, updating drivers might help. Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

I know its not harming the Pc that much its just that i got so annoyed and i really wanted to fix it.And about the message,i dont know what it says. But i remember that it might be something with the video card, when my uncle did a disc check throught vnc earlier he figured that one graphic card is not working or something. I dont know i'm not that good in CPy's anyway

Crokey
Do you mean BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) where you have to turn off then on again? It could mean something else is wrong, you'd need to find out what the error message is, and to find that out you'd need to make sure the computer doesn't restart when it BSOD's My Computer (Right-Click) > Properties > Advanced 'tab' > Startup and Recovery 'settings' > then uncheck 'Automatically restart'. Next time is crashes, make a note of the error message then post it back.
