Knowledge Novice
Is there any car to download which doesn't replace the orginal cars ? I would like to add 10 cars to San Andreas I found this during a Google search but don't know if it works cause I don't have SA for PC. (Link to original post- Click here: >adding cars in gta san andreas?< follow these steps to add a car in san andreas and not replace them. 1.download your car with the dff and txd files 2.open up img tool and open gta3 3.then goto actions, add, and add the txd and dff files 4.then do the values with adding the vaules like where it says 598, car, CAR, add the line as 599, your car, 5.but add the values from the readme but replace the car names with your own car names. 6.save everything and play gta.And you dont even have to make a copy of everything,if your game frezzes just delet the new vaules and the new files. I know that is possible too add txd files but i'm not sure that its the same with dff.A 'txd' is like a picture of what an object in GTA looks like. A 'dff' is like a structure or frame that the picture is wrapped around to give the object shape. Simply replacing one or both of these simply changes the way an existing vehicle will appear in-game. To add cars instead of replacing existing ones you must create extra car slots. Here is a tutorial that tells, step by step, how to do this in VC if you're interested in understanding the process.
