VCHolmes
# Update your graphics & sound drivers. # Make sure that no mods are installed. # Try deleting gta_sa.set file in the User Files Directory. # Try re-installing the game. Take a look at this topic.
Ring_of_Fire
Let's see... if you had bought an OEM machine, there should be some chipset info directly on the packaged box or manual. If you built it yourslef, you would want to look on the box art for the motherboard. If it is totally lost, then use CPU-Z and tell us your chipset info as your system specs ain't complete without it. http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-140.zip

VCHolmes
Could be a graphics problem. Try 3D Analyze. Run it and check the option 'Emulate Bump Cap Maps'. See if the game works now. The graphics will be crappy and the game will be laggy as the graphics are emulated. If it does work, and you don't like it, get a good GPU.
