Justin
Read the pinned posting requirements, and try the obvious Vista checks such as Windows 98 compatibility mode and updating your video drivers.
stowt07
yeah. I made the game compatible with Windows XP SP2. and it worked, the first time I tried it. and then I went a little while without playing it, and now when I try to play it, it freezes after I select which game to load. I just bought a new monitor, if that has anything to do with it. ???

Ring_of_Fire
What happens when you turn compatiblity mode off (Vista compatibility)?
stowt07
It was off when I first installed Windows Vista. The game wont even load without compatibility (I think).
Ring_of_Fire
start new game That was a serious and weird problem. The game didn't need to hunt down for a [.set] file or a [.b] file. But I think you probably had to update your device manager drivers, download the latest Windows Updates, and delete [.set] file. After that I would probably reinstall the game and try the v1.01 patch if you don't have v2.0. You should check to see if you are the admin - if you were, then still right-click the [.exe] and choose "Run As Administrator". Windows 2000 compatibility? There is also a Win95/NT compatibility.
