R.Resch
First Post. Me and my friend have tickets for Projekt Revolution at Tinley Park. I know there are going to be two stages, the Revolution Stage and the Main Stage. I read the bands schedule, and no two bands are playing at the same time, and I'm a bit confused about the two stage thing. The schedule is something like... Revolution Stage 1:00 - Band 2:00 - Band 3:00 - Band 4:00 - Band Main Stage 5:00 - Band 6:00 - Band ect. So no two bands are playin at the same time, so at some point is it goin got be like "Ok, quit looking at that stage and look ever here?"

n2gether
Well apparently they are just using 2 different stages. I was at Warped Tour a few weeks ago, but yea there was actually a point to having so many stages, because bands played at the same time. Not sure exactly why they are using 2 stages for Projekt Revolution exactly, but its better that no 2 bands are playing the same time, that makes me happy. I'm going to it August 22nd at DTE Energy Music theatre. I was there a few weeks ago for the Family Values tour and there was a sod fight on the lawn, where it was basically like dogdgeball with big clumps of grass, Security got pissed. just another thug
It's so they can play back to back. With one stage the equipment has to switched out which takes a while.
UnitedDestruction
Most likely the more wellknow bands on mainstage are going to have extensive show effects, maybe even pyrotechnics, which take a while to set up and will likely get in the way of the other bands without them. Plus a lot of times a company will sponsor a second stage
