BigGamer
In my numerous visits to the Network Support forum, I have noticed (as I'm sure many others have as well) that many bannings of members are usually followed by a topic asking why the ban happened, whether because someone missed the party or because the reasoning behind the ban was not made available to the general forum population. In order to cut down on the number of these repetitive topics, I propose that a pinned topic be created in the Network forum where people can ask about bannings without creating topic after topic. Now, I am not at all suggesting that this proposed topic should list every banning or anything of the sort. It would simply be a place where people could ask without having to start a new topic, making the Network forum less cluttered and more accessible to people with genuine network issues in the process. In any case, that's just my two cents. I'm not sure if this is the first time such a thing has been suggested, because typing in "ban" in the Yahoo search bar isn't exactly an efficient way to find out. Otter
Yeah, I don't know. For ever banned member that gets a "WTF HAPPENED TO [insert douchebag]!?!?!?!?!" there's probably 50 members that get banned. It's not like these sort of topics are a real drain on the system, anyhow, and it's equally unlikely that notorious members will get brought up in a catch-all thread. Plus, the little bit of drama squeezed out of these topics make 'em worthwhile, no?
