Making the allowed radar circle size bigger

Hey, sorry if it's a dumb question.

 

Let me explain what i need:

 

So, the original game uses a 128x128 bitmap for the radar circle, BUT...i want to make a bigger radar circle image, with 256x256 size, but when i go ingame, it scales down the radar circle i've made :S

 

So the question:

 

Is there a possible way to bypass this "limit" of the game, or edit through the game's memory?
