Me, I live on Portland Island. My Tony is Portland Island all day every day. I love all my Liberty City but there is no place like Portland and Saint Marks. Shoreside has that big house but is too suburbish for me plus transportion is garbage. Then Staunton but dangerous. Portland is more "personal" plus you can go anywhere without driving (I HATE DRIVING IN LC). You got the el-train. Rothwell Station, Kurowski Station, and Baillie Station take you around the island. Then the sub connect on the ground, Portland Station take you around the whole city to Staunton South Station, to Shoreside Terminal, then to Rockford STation. Portland ferry also get you to Staunton. We got everything, I dont know where you live but Portland is what its at. Theres nothing like a classic day in Portland, ducking the Triads at the basketball court in Chinatown, listening to DJ Clue in the ride, and going to Hepburn Heights and hearing nothing but gun shots. Nobody over in Hepburn Heights wants to see me on the streets cuz I run up wit the nine on Diablos. You might see me every so often outside the P.I. at Wichita Gardens or Newport mainly. It's because it's the main isle and there's a lot to do, there. Sometimes, I head down to Phil Cassidy's and kill him and then I break all his windows for messing with me. Or sometimes, I go down to the local Ammu-Nation and kill the bastard who works there. It's fun! The only thing I don't like is that I'm in Yardie territory. Oh well. I'll kill them. I like going down to the rubble in Fort Staunton and killing the firemen there. Then, I kill the army men who are doing nothing there. Or I like stealing a boat at the docks. Stuff like that. I like Portland because that's where my fellow gangsters are. But, there's not a whole lot to do, there. I like Shoreside Vale because it has a nice house. But, it's too suburban. There are no new wonders disturbing your 80's (Infernus, Cheetah, Banshee and a town filled with skyscrapers) If there would only be day and sunny weather, I'd live in Portland, no doubt. Yet I'd be living in Staunton Island. This is where the carjackers live, this is the place of brand new technology and skyscrapers, and.. But unfortunatly hitmen from my mother are constantly after me. Fighting off thugs and hitmen are fun there though. When some punk tries to steal my ambulance I just hit reverse and CRUNCH. Lil' Red Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 I live in Portland now that I am made in Liberty City, I'm downbad with alot of gangs so Newport, Staunton Island is out of the question for me oh hell no I can't stand still too long living there before some Forellis come and hit me up, I can't go anywhere in Staunton because either some Forellis, Yardies, or some other gangs might come and jump me, so I stay in Saint Marks where the most powerful gang is. I could also go stay in Cedar Grove over in Shoreside because I'm all good in the Hoods turf, Wichita Gardens. I don't net any money from anywhere though I don't have any assets so when I spend all my money paying hospital bills, posting bail, buying weapons, etc. I have to go to work down the street at the car place. I'd murk a diablo though them hoe cake ass gangsters feel the lead ripping through their skull and still want to come after me, they can suck a dick and die, whip out that assault rifle I'ma spray that sh*t like a shook up soda can they all fall down like bowling pins I'd straight mow through those diablos. You can drive around without being shot at, as it's leone territory, you can get the Train to all the places in Liberty City, and get the el-train just in case you feel like a good old fashioned gang war with the triads. All you do is annoy the Triads, find some leones and then the shooting will start. Then you can get the el-train to Hepburn Heights, where the Leone Mafia will be thrashing the Diablos. Then you go back to the station at Saint Marks/Portland View to get back home. Also, there are side missions too, like delivering noodles, and when you complete it, you extort the noodle place (protection money) and the same happens with the car place in Harwood. Ultimate hiding place (Sal's gentelmen club, I get all the wanted level and run there, when I need a health cheat I get in the interior, then get out and blast everything. best 8Ball's place. the thing with the chainsaws. (didn't checked it yet, is it a kind of replay of Portland Chainsaw masquarde?) my friends are there, even that they won't ever help me when I'm in troubles. \: no annoying gangsters. infinite amount of Leone Sentinels no f*cking yardies, yakuzas or forellis. the only pay n' spray that I remember it's location (near luigi's club) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
