PS2 Menus on PC version

Is there any mod to make the menus of the PC version look like the one from PS2 version ? Auto loading of the last save game at the start would be great too.

 

I play using a gamepad, and sucks having to go to my keyboard to press ESC and navigate in the menu when I want to see the map.

 

Oh ! If any one has a NoIntro patch, that removes EAX and nVidia logos, for the version 1.01 I would appreciate.

I haven't seen one, but this doesn't belong in this section. Look over in the mod section.

 

If you tell me what controller you use, I may have a solution for the ESC thing. I too use a controller, and from PC bootup to GTA gameplay, I don't have to touch the keyboard, not even to pause.

I've got a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2. I could use Logitech's Profiler or any other program to map a keyboard key in a button, but a preffer to config it directly into the game.

 

Also my big consern is about the menu screen. It hides the information, but the one from PS2 is far more easy do navigate and view the information.

I use a Logitech Dual-Action, and I do use the Logitech Profiler to reassign as ESC and the D-pad as Y, N, G, and H. (In retrospect, I should have done the d-pad as the 4 arrow keys and re assigned the gang control and radio stuff to those.) I don't understand the point in possible bug introdution by modding when you can use a middleware program, but to each their own.

 

However, that doesn't change the fact that this is the wrong section for this.
