Creating a thread in a mission?

Is it possible to create a thread inside a mission? VC-MP actually did this in their scm;

I've tried and it just results in a crash. Am I doing something wrong?

 

Also, there is no "garage 52" defined in the scm. What's the point of the "set_garage 52?? door_type_to_swing_open" opcode, then?

Post how did you do it and post the thread which should run

 

And you should use a newer MB

 

I belive

03bb: set_garage_door_swing_open

set the moving typ for the garage

In the original VC main the garages get a variable name by the create_garage code

and this variable name is used with 03bb:

 

0219: $2AE = create_garage_type 1 from -362.12 -550.214 11.722 to -353.12 -550.214 15.16 front -362.12 -539.484

03BB: set_garage $2AE door_type_to_swing_open

Would just defining the code as a mission, make it a thread, and starting the mission work?

 

I know what the garage opcode does, but there was no garage 52 defined, so what could it possibly have been referring to?

 

I'm fine with MB 0.22. If I use > 1.0, then I'd have to figure out quite a few things like the different type of ID numbers, and get used to not needing to define the data types.
