GTAplaya44344 Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Does this work from the thread: How to mod GTA:SA for playstation 2!, follow this tutorial of moding the ps2! ============================================================================= i have just found a way of modding the ps2.And you dont nessicerly need any modding chip.All you need is Grand theft Auto:San andreas for Playstation2 Sony:Playstation 2 v.1 (the first ps2 out) And a computer that has a DVD-ROM drive (i recommend windows XP or vista,im using vista ultimate) ============================================================================= 1.get your GTA:SA disk and put it in your computers D: drive (or a DVD-ROM drive) 2.The game files should come up.Just like the PC version but no readmes or anything 3.Try to install a vechical mod.Then do like a sami installatoin (just select the D:/ drive and select the .zip or .rar file that has the mod) or a manual installatoin (open up modles,gta3 (and use img tool v2) and in img tool just find the car files,replace with the mod files,Do the value thing with the .cnfg and the .ide and the carcolors and carmods and it will tell you what to replace in the readme in the vehical mod) 4.after you done all of that put the disk back in the ps2 and see if you can play your game and see your mod ============================================================================= BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING I NEED A VOLINTER TO DO THIS! to volinter just follow this tutorail and post if it worked or not.But if someone didnt post yet dont try this yet, ============================================================================= hope this helps all of you!
