razgriz6891
I installed san andreas couple months ago & the GTA User files folder didnt install which is a bit annoying because i want to add some music. Can you create the user files folders & if so what folders do i need to create. Many thanks guys
Ring_of_Fire
Which OS do you use? Windows XP will create one if you installed the game properly via a Full/Typical Installation. I think you also need to edit some of the San Andreas settings and save on a mission for one to be seen in "My Documents" -> "GTA San Andreas User Files". Windows Vista users wil need to set compatibility of [gta-sa] to Windows XP SP2. Also, they need to go click the Windows logo at the bottom-left, and click on "Search". Now search for [.set] and you should see where the game stores your user folder.

razgriz6891
Yeah im playing through, ive just done ''big smoke'' & still no user file folder. This is strange because i had an full install but i had to remove it because it kept on crashing or something, anyway that had a user file folder, even when i loaded up a 100% save game file from the start
Ring_of_Fire
Yeah im playing through, ive just done ''big smoke'' & still no user file folder. Now you need to save your game! Go back to desktop and use what's called "Windows Search". Simply search for "gta_vc.set" ".set" or ".b" without the quotes. If successfully, there will be a user folder. This is strange because i had an full install but i had to remove it because it kept on crashing or something, anyway that had a user file folder, even when i loaded up a 100% save game file from the start That's why I recommend reinstalling the game fully in the first place. razgriz6891
Done that but the save files are located in the data folder of the main game folder. Im gonna do another install, see if that works.
Ring_of_Fire
Click on the start menu in Windows XP and tell us your username. Well of course you don't have to tell us the letters; simply tell us if there are any "special characters" as well as spaces (although I would prefer you to use _underscores_ instead anyway).
