GTA San Andreas - PS2 - Import & Export

Hey all,

 

I got GTA San Andreas for almost 3 years already, and I have completed succesfully all the missions.

But I've got a question because, I have completed ALL missions you have to do like Sweet's missions, Big Smoke,...

1 mission I'd like to do is Import & Export, but I can't find it.

I have been lookin' everywhere in the Easter Bay, but I just can't find it.

And they say you've got to complete the mission "Customs Fast Track", so did I..

But I never saw the Import & Export missions, what could be my problem?

Or did I just wait to long with completing them? (First, I didn't know they exist!)

I really would like to do the missions!

I can't buy 1 store also, "Wang Cars" I think it's called. (San Fierro, Doherty)

After completing Customs Fast Track (main story mission) vehicle Exporting and Importing is unlocked at the car crane on the docks in the Easter Basin Docks in San Fierro.

 

Each time you enter a vehicle that is on the Export list, a text message sends a reminder that the current vehicle CJ’s driving can be exported. When this happens, save the car in one of the many safe house garages.

 

Exports

A list of vehicles for exporting is written on the large chalkboard near the car crane. To acquire a vehicle that is on the export list, drive it to the docks and then, using the crane, place it on the ship. Upon completion, the vehicle is removed from the list and a cash reward is given. The export list comprises of 10 cars. 10 more cars will appear after the first 10 cars are delivered with a total of 30 cars to export! After collecting all of the vehicles on the list, a bonus reward of $215,000 is given.

 

Note: Certain cars are only available on certain days of the week.

 

Crane Operation

In order to move vehicles on and off the ship, use the magnetic crane lift on the loading dock. Park a stolen car on the dock and enter the red marker under the car crane and press the Triangle button. Tilt the Left Analog stick to the left and right to rotate the crane on axis. Tilt the Left Analog stick up and down to move the crane along the track below. Use the Square button to raise the magnet and the Circle button to release the vehicle from the magnet.

 

Imports

The same blackboard that contains the exporting list also has a list of cars available for import. Walk up to the board until a text message appears asking if you would like to view vehicles for purchase.

 

The following table lists the reward and value of some of the vehicles that appear on the export/import chalkboard:

EDIT: I can't see the blackboard either. Please tell me, I am already lookin' for this like 1 year!

First of all, I play the game on PC, so maybe some of this info is different on PS2. Anyway, here we go.

 

That you can't enter the crane sounds weird. You should be getting one of those red shining transition markers just below the huge yellow crane that you used in the Customs Fast Track mission. I don't think you get a map marker though so you need to know where to look for it.

 

The blackboard should be located further down the pier where the yellow crane is located. It will specify which vehicles you need to acquire for export.

 

You said earlier that you weren't able to buy Wang Autos (or whatever it's called) in Doherty. That sounds even weirder, since you must buy Wang's in order to even start the Wang Auto asset missions, including the Customs Fast Track mission. You should not, however, be getting any asset money from Wang's before you have finished the Puncture Wounds mission.

How can you install mods if you got a PS2?

And how can I buy Wang Cars?

If I walk into the icon which should normally allow you to buy it, it says nothing.

And on the map, I only see a red icon on the place where Wang Cars is and before you can buy it, it must be green and it isn't...

It's the only thing in the whole game I haven't bought yet, because I couldn't.

yeah i cant buy the wang cars showroom in gta sa (pc) after ive beatin the game

May be a long shot - but have you completed the driving school with at least bronze on all tests? I'm not sure but I think this may have something to do with it, like how you have to learn to fly, before you can do the airfield missions.

I can confirm that driving school is the key here. I had the same problem. Ive been doing the LV missions and noticed that i still never bought Wangs or did them missions. The icon was still red. I also noticed i have that red "S" constantly on my radar pointing to the driving school.

 

I went to school, and got medals in all the lessons. As soon as I left the building, i got a couple phone calls.
