harmitage Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 (edited) When trying to install the game (GTA San Andreas) recieve error message "file error-Catastrophic failure. Disk is O.K. So is it some software needed to install the game. Have used this disk on other P.C.'s with no problems. Cheers, Bert. Ring_of_Fire Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 You may have to also update your drivers for all of your system components, and have the latest Windows Updates w/ latest SP2 (assuming you have Windows XP). Anyway, please still check the disc with CD-Check just to reduce significant problem confusion. http://www.kvipu.com/CDCheck/download.php Have used this disk on other P.C.'s with no problems.
