derty Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 (edited) I mean, that error, or rather prompt, is a prompt that is meant to tell you that the file you are trying to modify or overwrite is either read-only or in-use. Those are the occasions Windows api sends it. I think the confusion was where you said the read-only tick in image tool. It has the ability to remove the read only, and I had forgotten. Disable it's functionality, re-ensure that the IMG file is not read only, and try again. This is all to check if the img tool is confusing things. I suggested rebooting your PC just in case you had some ghost instance locking it up. Again, *maybe* img tool, I had issues with that feature. Try another img tool if this doesn't clear it up, !spark is a wise choice for this purpose. You can get it here. Every time I un-check the read only box, it re-checks itself as soon as I leave it, in both IMG and GTA San Andreas! WTF!? EDIT: little confused on how spark works. How come it places all the new files at the bottom? I thought they were all supposed to be IN ORDER or else the game wouldn't work. Does every file get individually placed into the root directory or does the CLEO folder get placed in the root directory and all the files get placed within it? The author is Ryowazamono: Akina Autumn Akina Spring Akina Winter How to install akina (for the newbies): 1. Copy the gta.dat in data folder 2. Copy hillrace folder in data\maps folder 3. Play.
