Helicopter magnet mod

Hi everyone, i didnt know where else to put this so ive put it here. Hope it ok.

 

Ive downloaded that helicopter magnet mod made by GodGell i think & in order for it to work you need to start a new game. I was wondering if there's a way to add the magnet mod to the main scm without having to start a new game?

 

Thanks guys, and just one more thing, how do you get the magnet to work? Like move it up & down?

 

Also i forgot to ask, which button is it to make the helicopter hover?
