Get Money/ Weapons in a Few Minutes

Hey,

 

Can someone advise me on what's the best way to get loads of cash and weaponry really early on?

 

I'm trying to make a video of me starting the game, then getting up to level 12 and getting the 150 armour bonus on Vigilante mode. I need to know what the best, fastest way of getting plenty of weapons or cash is, before I start the missions.

 

Right now I'm robbing a few stores to get $3000 then going to the mall, and getting a few uzis and grenades.

 

Anyone got any better ideas? Obviously it's got to be within a few minutes or it would be faster just to clear a few Vigilante levels and use the cash from that.

 

What about getting some good weapons e.g. MP5 etc.? Any way of doing that without cheating?

Robbing stores won't get you very much at once because you have to run to a pay and spray after each one. There is a trick you can do in the mall, rob the tool shop until you have 2 stars, run to the Gash, change clothes and lose your wanted level, and repeat...

 

Vigilante and ambulance missions will pay good. You can easily edit those down for time in your video.

 

Here's a weapons locations map you may find helpful.

 

 

 

For getting the M4 on Prawn Island you just use the roof tops accross from the film studio with a PCJ, go in the studio with the moon landing set, get the gun and use the packer as a ramp to get out.

 

Or you can even use the packer, parked in the right spot to jump over all the stuff blocking the bridge, and get to the second island for more weapons. Take a helicopter back.

Start vigilante and collect the heavier weapons the criminals drop.

In the Mall there are 4 stores to rob. Rob the first one till you get $1000 and 3 stars, then run to the second one, then 3rd and 4th. Now you have $4000. And the first store is ready to be robed again. And then the second one. You can rob these 4 stores again and again untill you gather enough cash. You'll never get more then 3 stars unless you'll start shooting back at the cops. In the Mall, there won't be any SWAT either.
