Convert cars from SA to VC

Hi

 

A (hopefully) easy question, how hard is it to convert a car from SA to VC?

 

The thing is that I want to change the police car in VC to something prettier, and I noticed there are a few really nice police cars made for SA (80's Caprice, 80s Crown Victoria), but I can't find any 80's police cars at all for VC.

 

I tried to use the SA cars directly in VC by just renaming the files and resizing the textures to 256x256, but it didn't work and no police cars appear at all in game

So I figure the problem is the model, but I'm not sure...

 

Any tips for someone that havn't modded since GTA3 was new?

i want to know that to

 

ive used 3ds whith kams script

 

imported the dff and exported in vc format (on the normal way for buildings)

 

set the txd to vc ive tried to convert pcj600 to vice but now no pcj600 apears ingame
