Our local PD wears Blue, County Sheriff and Highway Patrol wear Tan, University and College PD wear Black, Bike and Community patrols wear White shirts and Tan pants. Miami-Dade Police at least used to wear Tan (I don't know how old this pic is.): Compared to Vice City: (Note that Miami-Dade is more like a Sheriff than a traditional City PD, but Vice "City" is more like a county anyway, so I assume the county Police to be more accurate anyway.) Ever heard the term Boys in Blue? That is refering to the Blue uniforms that were police standard back in the day. The Tan things came about because of the military. Some police departments went more military like, don't know why. I think the Black uniforms started as a way to prevent staining and thus cut costs. Interestingly, if you look in the other GTAs, the uniforms are very period and location actuate as well. Infact, I think the LCPD in III wear a Dark Blue uniform instead of a Black one. While you are in SA, check the uniforms in each city and the countryside. I think there are 5 different uniforms total in SA. I thought I wouldn't have the opportunity to post, but luckily I have. Just we have to fight for comps. Cause here only 3 of them. U must reserve. But even that will not help. But u can understand them, cause they do their job. They want people live calm in the city. I don't care what they wear, I just don't like the colour.
