Matthias King
Isn't playing LCS really wierd, with the hideouts and weapon and health/armor locations all being different than III? I'm torn on what island is my favorite. I always spent a lot of time in Portland and Staunton, but that's likely because the bulk of the missions took place there. But like most everyone else here, once you move to Staunton, going back to Portland is almost a guaranteed death with all the gangs after you at that point. But unlike most of the people how have replied, there is something about Shoreside Vale that I like. The layout of SSV is a little unconventional, but I like it. I actually spend quite a bit of time there. The only thing I don't like about it is how difficult it can be to get from one place to another with how the highway and overpasses are configured. However, looking back it's actually pretty easy when you compare how long it takes to go, for instance, from Los Santos to San Fierro, or SF to Las Venturas. Though I probably never spent more time anywhere in LC than I did in the Staunton hideout. My friends and I used to stage massive assaults from that area onto the adjacent street, because it was so great to be able to retreat back down into there to replenish health and weapons, with only that narrow bottleneck of an entrance to trap police/FBI/Tanks. Just get a five-star level and see how long you can last. Ahh, good times.
