topdogkiller
seems okay to me. I hope it's an entirely new type of gameplay game and nothing I haven't seen before like countless games around now. And the kids with their stupid fanboy talk. Just STFU cause we really don't care about what you think, you non agreeable bastards.
iRloading
quite enjoyed red dead, bully, midnight club to an extent, and SOE as one of my first PS2 games~ Red dead was my favorite tho~ boss battles, weapons, level design, characters, etc. although was kinda linear compared to GUN, but we know how that game fared out freerome in a western doesn't exactly do much when it's all horses and empty-like they weren't essentially system-sellers, but they're a classic in my book hopefully what they'd have in mind turns out to at least be a decent good game worth it's price

MMFF
Ahh. some good news for PS3 owners. I can't wait to see what Rockstar have in store for us. An MMO would be cool. With a GTA twist. A lot of people wanted it for GTA4, so maybe they will do that. I don't think it is fair to say that it wont be a system seller before anything is even known about the game. This is the next gen, everything can change. Rockstar have made one next gen game, and it was a Ping Pong game. Everyone knew that wouldn't be a system seller. I have faith in Rockstar. uptownrockstar
YES . YES. it is some peoples worst nightmare. the gta killer 50gb ponyfarmer. striaght crime simulation. any career, any crime, jail systems, maybe with a country as a map. mmo.. i think the thing that attracted rockstar to sony was that they saw some thing spiecal in the hardware. i mean when III came out, most of us didnt even think that stuff could be done in a game. but they did, and did it two more times; each one bigger and better than the last. rockstar is in the bussiness to sell games, they knew they couldnt eat selling IV on just the station. but i believe they fell inlove wit the hardware again, and would like to make something that really uses PS3's power. 50GB DUAL LAYED masterpeices. TubbyJ
I really dont care if ps3 owner's get a special franchise, it will just be some piece of sh*t game anyway. Wow, you're a perfect example of a fanboy, aren't you? Don't know anything about the game other than the fact that it's on the PS3, and you say it's a piece of sh*t. Be a gamer first, a (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo) fan second (not a fanboy, mind you, just a fan). Anyways, I liked a lot of R*'s other franchises, especially Bully (or Canis Canem Edit), Red Dead Revolver (agree with iRloading, the Old West isn't the best place for a sand box style game) Midnight Club (especially Dub Edition, my favorite racing game to date). I'm looking forward to L.A. Noire as well, so I have high hopes for this now faceless PS3 title.
Xanarki
If Max Payne 3 becomes exclusive, I orgasm. But it won't happen, though. I remember seeing an interview with 1 of the dudes that was making Alan Wake. He commented that R* had no interest in MP3.

nlitement
NEXT-GEN Caught your ass right in the bait. Can someone create a stock post that we can paste around and set as signatures that explains that "next-gen" is a stupid ass, marketing buzzword that the world needs the least? Ask and you shall receive: Are you suffering from Next Degeneration? Symptoms include: - Frequent (at-least one time per week) use of the words "next generation" and/or "next gen", in reference to games or gaming systems. - Discarding your PC and switching to a video game console, under any of the following false pretenses: - - - You'll be better-off financially / PCs that run new games are expensive - - - Games will look better and run faster - - - Microsoft and Sony love you - Believing that, for some reason, Rockstar named the first Grand Theft Auto game "GTA III", and it was on Playstation 2 - Not knowing the difference between a motherboard and a red 1985 Ferrari Testarossa. - Getting an erection from looking at pictures of Peter Moore - Believing Halo was a pioneering part of what is, and has been for the past 15+ years, known as First Person Shooters - Upon reading a games catalog which has no PC games mentioned, you believe you saw a good range of games Treatment: Disregard the console entirely, or at-least buy a PC which can run games decently. Acting quick will ensure a lower chance of brain-cell fatality.\ This revision (1), is accurate as of July 30, 2007. Updates will be carried-out as professionals have studied into the matter further. Thing about the PC is that some people don't have the money to buy a $800 computer plus the constant expensive upgrades just to play an FPS on a half-way decent framerate when I could just play that same game on a console with better quality (although that depends if I want to spend about $200 to upgrade so my PC meets the recommended requirements) for much cheaper. The PC is all well and good, but I'll keep the controller, thank you.
