For all people who have played Carmageddon 2 Carpocalypse over the last few years, here's something you MUST try.

 

My very first GTA-SA map: The beaver City of Carmageddon 2!?!

 

with help of Toshiba, over at C F e, i was able to port the track from Carmageddon 2 San andreas. I thought it would be great, since the similarities of both games are so great. The track contains ped’s, cars and an operational garage. For now, it’s just a beta, to show how things look ingame. Keep an eye on this topic, since I will work on a map containing ALL Carmageddon maps in one big world.

note: This will make your original SA version unplayable, so BACKUP you game!

It only needs 3 things:

Some carma2 cars, Paroxums light treatment, and some better textures biggrin.gif.

Thanx for the feedback guys. I'll look into the paroxum light treatment. Textures is something i will probably not be changing, but anyway, that is something that can be done after i'm finished. smile.gif

 

the carma2 cars is something i'll get started on when all maps are finished.

Can you make also Max Damage model as a main character? It would be cool.

Well... if anyone feels he can make a nice Max damage model he can contact me. Furthermore i was thinking of adding cars, but not the original ones, they are way to lo poly, and bad-textured. ( just like the rest of the game smile.gif ) So, i guess Carma2Car remakes are also welcome.

 

One more thing, i'm not that good at scripting SA. Maybe, but i'm just guessing, there is a way to make some sort of carmageddon-like script. Getting points for killing opponents, or points for killing peds? I was hoping to get into that, when i was finished mapping, but if someone feels he can start on the script... that would be MOST welcome... smile.gif

 

When you would like to contribute, just contact me! And i'll figure out, how to handle things from there.

 

note that the project is in early stages, and it might take a while until your contributed work shows up 'online'...
