I can't believe I haven't read VLV in aaages! And I just remembered I read Hatchet Man, and even opened up a window to leave feedback earlier, but got sidetracked. I suck! Better than any other guy. I started writing a short narrative piece this morning. I'm hoping to get it about six chapters. It's about two crooked FBI agents and how they're going to cause a gang war to erupt for their own financial benefit. Just a short piece before I go back to writing Old Times. I was forced to condense the profiles into their categories (i.e. Moretti Crime Family) due to the fact you cannot host more than 20 pages. I expect it to be finished by the end of the month, at the latest. A week at the earliest. Ashes of the Apocalypse keeps getting rewritten, as I am not satisfied each time I write it. It frustrates me that I do not know what will happen in the story yet, so this one may be held off for quite some time. That is at least until I develop a detailed plot. The Lasting is a passive story to do on free time until I figure a character plot for it. I can't write without a main character. It's tough. I don't know why. I'm thinking of reviving my very first story here, probably in the form of a new topic. It was a GTA IV fanfic, with decent writing, if I do say so myself. But, as you may have guessed, I need to develop a plot, which will be easier for me than the others. Again, I do not know why. That's all the updates I have for you now. And I'll be checking Legend of Speed (wicked title) as soon as I hit send on this. And now it's time for a little AOM update. I tried very hard to think of a club opening scene which wouldn't be a carbon copy of M&P's, but I failed. Miserably. So, in order to accelerate and finally kick things along, I'm gonna have to do just that. But don't worry, I've got a unique club to toy with, so I'm hoping it'll come off as fresh and new. (Yeah, I know it's very similiar to that of M&P's, but I couldn't work it any other way) Eyeing her surroundings, Lacey Grey shrugged off her sleek black jacket for the doorman to collect, whilst loitering in the cloakroom where the others waited for her. It was designed futuristically to match with that of the dancefloor, which was situated behind twin glass doors where throbbing Garage bass emanated. She nodded her thanks to the smartly dressed man who took her jacket, before aiming her awe-struck words in her friends' direction. "Whose club is this?" There's 2 more lines of dialogue in that short scene before the models enter the main area of the club, where I'm hoping to describe the cloakroom better, in case you thought that bland description was a bit lacklustre[?]. I know, I'm working on and off on AOM at the moment, but I want this to be my finest work, so I'm never quite satisfied with what I come up with. Which pisses me off a little bit as some of these characters I am massively eager to write. I could PM some details about cetain scenes of put them in spoiler tags which I've had in mind since around July (I know ) and they are seriously wicked and dark - in every sense of the words - even if I do say so myself. Instead of a mini series it's going to be a oneshot and will probably be the size of one of my regular chapters. A lot of characters have been cut out of the equation too - some having undergone a bit of a name change. I'm only gonna be using 3 of which and they are: Calvin Morgan, Jordan Lehman and Noah Morgan. The summary is as follows: In order to rescue his brother from the malignant clutches of the U.S. government, a militant trainee must discharge a dubious cell-phone or else. Seeing as I've yet to rectify a slight continual error regarding SYN and everything that I write for AOM (my main project) is never satisfying, I'm seriously considering writing Mobile before I continue with those. Otherwise I'll never get anything done. I'm still undecided but it looks likely at this stage at that being the way in which I do this. That pesky opening sequence can [hopefully] easily be done. All I had to do was change the club's layout and style, and it's for the best all round. Instead of the usual interstellar themes most bars seem to have, AM (Aiden's club) will have a real urban vibe, complete with fluorescent graffiti to match its Garage theme. I think it'll be quite unique as far as nightclubs go. And on to Mobile - I'm gonna write this oneshot first as it has minor elements of AOM and SYN to help with the wait (that's the badass and provocative qualities). It's simply a matter of getting it written at this point. So here's some very short (and I mean miniscule) character profiles so you know who to favor in advance. Calvin Morgan His perfect demeanour hides a dark temper Jordan Lehman Sexy, cool and deadly, her efficiency proves ruthless Noah Morgan Previously having had an attitude, the cracks start to show Told you so.
