I don't collect vinyl but it's something I would like to do. I was looking up Air releases and missed their latest album Music For Museum (2014) It's a limited vinyl-only release,  with only 1,000 copies of the album being printed. The album was printed on dual clear vinyl. Something really appealing about the clear vinyl. Not sure I've ever seen clear vinyl.

 

 

Kinda reminds me of the artwork for Geogaddi

 

Air have always made beautiful, engaging music. This album is pure ambient this time round. Haven't had a chance to listen to all of it yet but it's nice.

Speaking of EPs, Squarepusher quietly dropped one not too long after his long-awaited album Be Up A Hello. It's called Lamental and sounds a little more subdued in comparison, but it's by no means worse.

I went digging through some Discogs recommendations and found this. I love the stuttering that's going on here and how it adds to an already solid rhythm.

Always casually dipped in and out of Sphongle stuff.  Just found this today. I don't what you'll call this. It's psychedelic/chillout but it has really nice arps, and a spanish guitar. Sphongle are mostly Simon Posford but he does the odd show as a band. I've seen Simon Posford DJ under the name Hallucinogen and do a Spongle DJ set (same festival), I don't remember much from either set though. Was a long weekend and may have been under the influence.
