Ralfb
Now why the hell do i watch SA screenshots and the guns look real nice quite detailed like it should look in real life, but when i turn on my xbox and play SA i got some fugly guns, the 9mm looks plastic, the ak-47 looks quite ugly too plus the Tec-9 is about the size of Cj's Torso....Now what the hell is that And also the ak-47 is bigger than skinny Cj's torso with head And why the hell does the uzi sound like somebody is making machine gun sounds with their mouth,is it my game or simply Rockstar did a horrible job with making the guns, they seem as if they were installed all quickly and nobody paid attention
Kefka
I think considering how tight the polygon count and texture memory requirements would be for a game like GTA, R* have to save wherever they can - and the looks of things that most of the time you don't see all that clearly anyhow (due to CJ being in the way) would be good candidates for saving a few points/bytes. I've got no qualms with the weapon sounds - they all sound decent to me... iirc, there's a high res weapon pack mod available - if you're playing the PC version, you might want to grab it. The assault rifle sounds like someone banging a wall with a hard spoon or something.
Lioshenka
that is why there is PC version. i guess, XBox is not capable of rendering high-poly objects.

Ralfb
I mean i love the game, everything is cool with me the only only things i dont like about the game are the guns sounds, look and ide like to see CJ with baggy clothes not tight clothes, and also i just noticed that i dislike the fire guns make when you are firing, looks like it was made with a crayon. Anyways those are just small things in a huge world known as SA,everything else is pretty cool with me And im F'd up cause im using an xbox...not modded. But on PC you can change the level of details, you cant change the gun (unles you mod the game) but the visual effects are much better. They probably did not want to change so much stuff for PC, because they knew someone would make it for them R* push Renderware to its limits... It seems impossible for me to use same engine for 7 years!
