Bigs
Hmm... •Tim Hardin - "Black Sheep Boy" •Joy Division - "Love Will Tear Us Apart" (Although almost any JD song could work here) •Silver Jews - "Punks in the Beerlight" There's a lot of other melancholy songs out there that I like, those three came to my head first though. No Escape?
Afghan Whigs - My Curse Definitely. -A lot of Explosions in the Sky. -Good Morning, Captain by Slint. Creepy as hell too. -Neighborhood #1 by Arcade Fire. -Morte Di Un Soldato (The Death of a Soldier) by Ennio Morricone. and a bunch of others. Don't think I've ever cried during a song; usually just a vague feeling of sadness, but these ones are pretty moving to me.

darthYENIK
I never really react to music that way. Maybe if I hear a song that reminds me of my childhood, and I kind of get sentimental it makes me a bit melancholy. But nothing that would totally bum me out.
