UnitedDestruction
Ok so next month Ill be buying a PS3, and I was wondering whether or not I should buy this Intercooler cooling system. Its only $35 so its not that big of a deal, but Ive heard from some people that they use up too much power that the system needs and it can damage your system, or at least keep it from running like it should (at least Ive heard this about the 360 ones), while others say that they are great and really do good for your system. If it is really good then Ill just go ahead and buy it, anything to keep my console alive right? Anyone know whether these things are all theyre cracked up to be? heres another link incase you missed the first: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1168044005667
ugtaatf
Don't get it, My PS3 only crashed once because it was on for a few days. Save your money for a new game. Save your games frequently and you shouldn't worry about it. Just make sure that the PS3 is in a well ventilated area, like a table or something. I have a glass thingy that has my DVR, PS3, DVD Recorder, Stereo Reciever, and CD Changer. Oh I also forgot my HD Dish Nework reciever. So with all of those things running and generating heat the things still work. My advice is (I was thinking about it) don't get it.
GTA3Freak-2001
If its anything like the 360 cooler then avoid it, it can damage your system.

Lycanthrope
I wouldn't worry about it. Mine works fine with very little noise. Just keep it in the open.
Glycerine
Don't waste your money on an intercooler. To keep it cool have it well ventilated, place a N64 game underneeth on each corner and one in the middle to keep the bottom cool, and you can just have any fan laying around the house to blow it.
