john winston lennon Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Hello.... well i am playing the mad dog's mission, but i was fooling around the los santos docks and I found a motorboat so I started "salining" perpendiculary to the big ship for about ten minutes... then the first question: is the sea infinite?? i mean if i keep on salining will I ever get anywere?? the second: when I was returning from nowhere, i found a better motorboar, (the fast one) and as I got in suddenly I had 3 stars of police chasing me...I don't know if that is because I stole the boat or because i was entering another city (as I was going under the bridge which is "forbidden"). So the question is: If I go to any other city, which is not yet unlocked, will al the police start chasing me?? chau! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jnzooger Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 The sea is infinate. There is a point where the map ends and then there is a never ending ocean. You get a wanted level if you go into a forbidden area. (Any city you haven't unlocked, Area 69 or Navy Base.) However, the waters around are safe as long as you don't touch land or a water vehicle. jnsg Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 There's nothing physically preventing you from entering any city at any time (except for those inconvenient barriers on the roads, but they're easy enough to get around via waterways). You can go to Las Venturas, for example, and run amok and have a jolly ol' time. Heck, you can even go and do certain side-missions while you're there. As long as you don't mind having 4 stars. Dr. Benway Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 At the beggining of the game the cities of San Fierro and Las Venturas are locked, because you are not allowed to leave Los Santos (you can hear that in the scene where officer Hernandez calls you and tell you not to leave the city).
