PatrykSA
Hello, I need some more help.. My radio/music in my cars/missions don't work. I tune it to my station and it doesn't play. I've made sure my radio is on and my sound is to the max. I fully unistalled and even started a new game, same problem.. Does anybody know what the problem is? Seddo
Try dropping your sound acceleration down a couple of notches, to do this go to (start>Run>then type in dxdiag) Then click on the sound tab, then move the acceleration slider down to "Basic Acceleration". It should fix your problem, if it doesn't come back and we'll try to find another solution for you. Edited July 16, 2007 by Seddo
PatrykSA
I tried basic and standard, both didn't work It worked when I first started the game, then later on in some missions, it just stopped.
Ring_of_Fire
Have you got any User Tracks Custom MP3s. Might want to delete 'em... Your problem could be because of several reasons: - Patch 1.01 not installed! - Failed to own a legit game. - Failed to delete [.set] file to change the in-game settings back to factory defaults. - Failed to properly install the game (You refused to select a Typical/Full Installation.) - Never updated his sound drivers. Failed to read the posting requirements, and to make a thread in the Troubleshooting forums. Edited July 16, 2007 by Ring_of_Fire
PatrykSA
I got 2.0. Updated drivers and legal game. Failed to delete [.set] file to up the in-game settings back to factory defaults. How do I delete that?
Ring_of_Fire
BTW: What OS do you have? Location of the [.set] file... Desktop -> My Documents -> San Andreas User Files -> gta_sa.set or C:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas\DATA And remember - you can do a Windows Search on your entire hard drive! PatrykSA
AMD Sempron 2600+ GeFORCE 6600GT OC 1024GB DRR Sound Blaster 4 SC I know it's sh*t, but runs most games on high. And deleting that .SET file didn't do anything
Seddo
Try this instead then, Change your Windows sound settings to quadraphonic. (start>control panel>sounds and audio devices>advanced (under sound playback) then select quadraphonic speakers under speaker setup).
