And im 99% sure that it is the G3SG-1.. would explain the lack of a clip in the art though.. It may be a failed attempt to resemble a glock, but in my opinion it's closer to a H&K USP or a Steyr GB or M/S series type of gun. But then again, this may all be because of the shadowings in the pic.. One more thing: do you guys think it will be P99s and G19s in the game? i also want the HK 416 and MP7.. It's probably just a random gun-shaped thing the artist drew from memory. Part of it looks kinda like a USP, but the curve of the grip also kinda looks a bit like an XD. They'll probably only have one of each "type" of handgun (service pistol, revolver, suppressed, and something "big" like the DE), so it's unlikely there would be more than one Glock. I think everone would love the idea of costermizerble weapons beeing in the game.. It gives the waepons a whole new dimension and almost endless possibillyties depending on the amount of upgrades.. Since rockstar seems to be going for the realistic approach this time, maybe the weapons in the game will handle like their real life conterparts, (Damage, speed, acuracy, mag capacity an so on) GLOCK 17 This one is pretty obvious i think. There are lots of clear screes showing this gun. The model is pretty easy to make and therefor also easy to regonise in real life. Not only is the Glock probably supposed to be a G17, it's a first or second gen version, as opposed to the third gen version in the photo. It is kinda hard to tell if it is the 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation version of the gun, perhaps a mix-up. Glock 17Caliber 9mm Cartridge 9 x 19mm (Para) Bullets initial speed 360 m/s Muzzle Energy 500 Joules Practical Rate of Fire 40 RPM Mazine Capacity 17 Rounds Desert eagle lookalike This one is defednely not the Glock 17, but what is it then, it looks big and it have a vertical butterfly profil seen from the front. My guess is that it is a Desert Eagle. Becaurse of the muzzle shape beeing nearly unique in Desert Eagle design, the safety switch also has a distinct shape which can be recognized in that picture, and the trigger guard has a distinct shape which is not rounded nor square but bulges slightly inwards. The only thing that is not 'desert eagle' about that gun is the barrel which is extended slightly out of the slide which no production desert eagle has ever had - any barrel extension has been a part of the slide. My take on that is a fault on the artists' part. Rockstar got this model pretty close to the original. Notice that the ingame model has a high capacity magasine on it (could this be an indication of costimizable wepons and/or weapon upgrades?) It is pretty hard to tell wich model it is, since the foram looks a bit wide, and there is som 2 graphics on the side wich could be the indicator for single, auto and secure. Still i think is resembles the A3, most likely a A3 Navy N(A3). An if we take the art in consideration, its yet another hint that the weapons will have upgrades, see the flashlight. flashlights. But since its not at screen its not certain it will be in the game:) Heckler & Koch MP5 A3Caliber 9mm Cartridge 9 × 19 mm Luger, 10 mm Auto, .40 S&W Bullets initial speed 270 m/s (886 ft/s) Muzzle Energy 637 joules Practical Rate of Fire 800 round/min Mazine Capacity 15- or 30-round detachable box Colt M4 This one is one of the more difficult to recognize. But after running the trailer a coulpe of times in slow, i managed to get this shot were i IMHO thik it looks most like a M4 which makes sense, since ot is another favorit weapon amongst game developers. Also this is commonly used among special police forces in the US (such as SWAT).Some has surgested that it might be a HK416, but the one in the game has a triangular front sight like an M4, whereas the HK416 has a flip-up sight. The HK416 also has a "seamless" quad-rail on the front instead of the round handguards seen in the trailer. Otherwise, the HK416 is an M4, only with a piston-driven bolt rather than direct gas impingement. Notice that the M4 havent got anything mounted on the RAIL system (see picture) on top. Not even a sight (carry handle) like the real life picture one, wich isent normal (could this be an indication of costimizable wepons) Colt M4Caliber 5,56 mm Cartridge 5.56 x 45 mm NATO Bullets initial speed 905 m/s (2,970 ft/s) Practical Rate of Fire 700–950 round/min Magazine Capacity 20- or 30-round detachable box magazine/90 rounder drum magazine Sighting Range 600m AK-47 with ACE folding stock This one, is proberly the one people argue the most about.. Many people think it is a Ak-74. Proberly because of the folding stock. The Kalashnikov appears to be an AK-47 (or one of the other combloc copies) with an ACE folding stock (much like the ones on Ak-74's). Like this, only with wood furniture on the front. Since the AK-47 dosent come with this stock standart it has led me to belive that the stock might be cotomiserble, perhps adding a feature such as being able to conseal the weapon under a coat or in a bag, perhaps you will get wanted in the game if you are seen carrying a weapon in the open street, with the new realisem approach an wanted levle system. Or the foldable stock could be foldede when entering a vehicle, making it possible to make drive-bys with it. AK-47Caliber 7,62mm Cartridge 7.62x39 Killing range m 1500 Muzzle Energy 700joules Practical Rate of Fire 600 rds/min Mazine Capacity 30 Heckler & Koch G3SG-1 This is the sniper version of the german G3A3. It is basically a bit longer G3A3 with a scope and foldable legs in the front. The artist seems to have choosen a different scope, but otherwise its seemes to be a match. H&K G3SG-1Caliber 7.62mm Cartridge - Bullets initial speed - Muzzle Energy - Practical Rate of Fire - Mazine Capacity 20 SPAS-12 It defetnely look like the tactical shotgun, SPASS 12. Also noticed that the one the cop is hold has a added folding stock. Again this could mean costermiserble weapons or different versions of weapons.. perhaps the one with the folding stock has an added accuracy, and can be folded to hide under a coat or in a bag. SPASS-12Caliber - Cartridge - Bullets initial speed - Muzzle Energy - Practical Rate of Fire - Mazine Capacity - Remington Model 870 (Sawed off) Well, im not that good at shotguns, so if you can help with this one it would be great. I think that it is a sawed off version of one of the Remington Model 870's. The one in the picture is the Exprees. The red lines indicate where it has been cut. Sawed off shotgunCaliber - Cartridge - Bullets initial speed - Muzzle Energy - Practical Rate of Fire - Mazine Capacity - Stanley Retractable Blade Knive If this will appear as a weapon in the game is kinda hard to tell, since it only appear in the hand of some guy in a cutscene. But since it is used as a weapon by him lets assume that it is. I think it is the Stanley knive since it is the Retractable Blade Knive that look most like it out of the limited amount that i know of. But if you look at the picture, it seems to have the same screw on the side, and the guys thomb is placed where the blade scroller is, and it seems to have the same curve on the back if you take the angle, in wich he is holde it, to account. I've been looking at the pics of the remington shotgun and the sawnoff shotgun used in the driveby and I am pretty sure that they aren't one and the same, although they look very similar for oneasons in the pictures i have seen, there are two barrels on the remington one is the one you show, with the line above the barrel and two, is the one with a normal barrel the one with the normal barrel, has sights so close to the front of the barrel, that they would not be cut off when the barrel was 'sawn off' as you will see, our only picture of the shotgun is obscured, so it may or may not infact be the remington, however, because we cannot see any sights on that gun, we should assume, it is just a similar shotgun. But there are many Remington 870 models, the IRL one that is shown, is one of the newest. may be that the in-game model, will be an older one. Cold you please post the picture you mention? Plus it looks like he is in a bank vault, meaning he is robbing the bank, notice he has a duffel back. Now look at this picture, he has the same duffel back, and you can clearly see its an AK, and it looks like he is getting out of the backdoor of the bank, and shooting at the police that has responded to the heist.
