The icon will turn green and the property purchasable once you complete the mission Shakedown. The Malibu costs $120,000 to buy and generates $10,000 max per day. Whats the deal? Looks like you are able to currently purchase since the black message box said "You don't have enough money" It could several reasons why you can't purchase it: 1. You still need to make more money! Press on the [Action] button when you're through. 2. Trainers might be bugging up Vice City cash reader. My advice is to try another money maker somewhere on the GTAForums to download. Another thing to do is to do the "Vigilante" mission trick to make money easily ("blow up cars" cheatcode -> get inside police car in garage). 3. Saintdave's reason.
