silvermanblue Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Well I just recently installed a new map mod on san andreas (version 1). It worked great, added a cool area to play around in. Now a couple of days later I find another map I want. So I go ahead and install it. Now my first map mod isnt showing up. Well I found out it was GTA dat file, if I switch the files I can have only one of the mods appear. So I figured simple I just add the new stuff from one and put it the other GTA dat. Nope, led to a crash, So I am stuck deciding which map mod to load. Anyway I can get them both at the same time? JohnPro Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Yes you may have both, unless of course they both have img files if they both have IMG files then you cant because san andreas only alows for a +5 new dff's or cols i think cols. To bypass this limit no one knows, what i've been doing is joining the dff's and using every bit of space i can in the col file. if they both dont have IMG's hmm then thats weird that it crashes. good luck... Yeah I think it has something to do with with the WTC mod, it has acouple of new textures and its own images. The other mod uses only ingame objects. The COL Allocation is done dynamically, so you need to increase the value of this push: 0x551106 : push 10150 To whatever you want, i was going to release a kind of Pool Adjuster but i have been unable to hack the boundaries. Are you saying we can increase the limit of our cols? This would be great because i noticed everytime i make a big model like mountain or race track the col files get messed up. _______________________________________ ok so wtc has dff's and the other doesnt, the one xmen gave you above should work then.
