Remember This. Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 -kiddy games(pokemon,digimon........) They may be marketed towards a younger audience but that doesn't mean they're not enjoyable. One thing I hate is how childish twelve year olds call Pokemon kiddy and only make their parents buy them GTA and wont play a game if it doesn't have: -swearing -blood -violence all in an attempt to make themselves look grown up. While ACTUAL "grown ups" or at least, "mature people" do in fact, play Pokemon or just about any game not based on the amount of "f*ck's" but more on how good the game is. In reality, the mature games seem to attract kiddies more than Pokemon. "Mario!?!? Dat shiiis gay get me Gears of war, I wanna shoot a nigga". I'm not singling you out or anything and didn't assume you think this way. But since you said "kiddy" I just wanted to make this statement. It's understandable if games like pokemon don't get you off, I'm not trying to insult you or claim that this is how you think. @Remember This.:Just don't get Battle Revolution. I play Pokemon RPG's and have always found them to be enjoyable, but the console games have never held up to the same quality(Stadium was nice though, only because it had the best announcer yet in any sort of game, ever) WHATS THE MATTER TRAINER!?! THE CHALLENGERS HAVE *TWO* DIFFERENT TYPES OF POKEMON As soon as I saw his post I was about to make a post just like yours. I totally agree with you, Pokemon games are fantastic RPG's, and I play them for the great game play, the length and the world they are set in - truly a brilliant experience. Your comment on young, supposedly 'mature' gamers can only be backed up by this forum, filled as it is with moronic 13 year olds hanging around GTA4 chat. 1.I"m not a 12/13 year old i'm a 15 year old 2.i have seen much more in my life than any (well 1/2 of GTAF)will ever see. 3.I said ''kiddy games'' only because i didnt know how other to name it.Since they all are RPG's i ussually own just the best RPG's (FF,Oblivion) as i dont need other RPG games to break up my mind and waste time and since these have '' a little more coloured graphics'' then other i call them kiddy and dont buy them/play them. 4.My parents dont buy me games.I do it myself.I go the the store and buy it.And unlike all of you who need parents to get videogames,i just go to store take the Manhunt,(GTA or anyother 18+ game) ,pay and return home.Unlike others that say to the parenths to buy Manhunt and then the shopkeeper gives nasty and surprising looks to them making them feel unconfortable and bad and whateverf they feel 5.matures play these kind of games because they are funny and to forget a little about reallife problems getting into a world full of imaginable ''coloured'' caracters. 6.and kids play the violent games becaause they watch killing on TV and want to be grown up,but when they grow up and face all the possibile fears they will buy something like that to relax a bit 7.mario?I play old Marios because those are legendary games and they are a unique expirience like GTA III or original CounterStrike or any racing game of the time we were born(or earlier).New Marios are all in 3d world and are boring to me lost the old 2d feeling i liked with this game so i just skip them.I dont see quality in Pokemon/digimon so i dont buy them. 8.I'm not a moron and i dont hang in GTAIV anymore like i did in first 5 months when i joined and was a nOOb liek others who post silly topics now and then. 9.conclusion: NOBODY LIKES LONG POSTS SO IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD DONT READ IT I just had to point this out, anyone up for a bit of hypocrisy? Oh and by the way, whoever sells you your games should be in prison. But he isnt thanks to the law in our country that allows neibours braking windows kids buying cigars in public places etc.... Now back on-topic i also hated to play fighting games but then i got tekken 4 and it changes.Now i own all games after it as well as some Mk games !! I LOVE stealth games like MGS, Hitman and Splinter Cell. My favourite are MGS games. I don`t play much first person shooters. I mainly play Counter Strike 1.5 cause i find other versions too easy and boring. But there are few other games. I realy like some good fighing games like Def Jam fight for NY, Mortal Kombat and Teken. I don`t care for others. I hate point and click adventure puzzle games. I hate detective games like CSI cause i finish them in like 2 hours. I don`t realy like sci-fi games. Except Star Wars series. Every Star Wars game is good. I only play NFS of all racing games. I only play TES of all RPG`s. I only play Pro Evolution Soccer and NBA 2k7 of sports games. Adam Jensen Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 -Star Wars and Starcraft type of games-Ace kombat type of games I`m not a fan of Star Wars movies (i think they suck) but Star Wars games like Battlefront 1 and 2 and Jedi Knight series (cause of multiplayer) are realy fun and addictive.
