Get Steve-M's map viewer, read the readme.txt(s) and tinker around with it till you get the gist of it and run the radar lua script. It's all in the readme of how. By default, his radar tile script as a camera value of 10 degrees, I did "1" and was quite pleased and happier with the results: -- this is all you need to configure: -----------------------------------------FOV = 1 -- in degreesmap_width = 6000 -- in unitsnum_radar = 144 -- number of radar pieces, must have a natural square root------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, with your new radar pieces, import them to the places they go one at a time. You won't need to edit them all, only the ones with your island on them. After this, export a MAP (not tile) and edit it to repair (black turned back to SA water color, etc) and also to paint your map as SA's looks. Then, import the map back to G-Dar and save.
